October 7, 2003 - Director Scott Bowers and President Dave Kolojejchick announced that Harrisburg Softball will field a 23U Softball team for the 2004 season. The team will be made up of women from the Central PA area. Harrisburg Softball plans to fill its roster by the end of December. The organizations goal is to provide additional playing time for these athletes and introduce them to women's softball. The team will play in the local womens league and attend four or five tournaments in 2004.
